The designer Celina Martin launched her first
collection in the winter of 2002, a year after earning her degree
in Fashion Design at IED in Madrid, Spain. She continued
her studies at Central St. Martin's College of Art and Design
in London where she also gained experienced working as an intern
with the British designer, Maria Chen.
This winter collection was comprised of Women's accessories which were first
sold in Destino Clandestino ( www.destinoclandestino.com ). Over
the seven seasons since then she has expanded her portfolio to include handbags,
broaches, jackets, t-shirts, scarves, and blouses,pants...
Over these past 5 years, Celina has participated in various fashion exhibits
and fairs including Edition Madrid FEM III in 2004.
In February 2005, Celina Martin collaborated with ARCO (Madrid's grand fair of
contemporary art, www.arco.ifema.es )
by designing and producing over 100 handbags for the event staff.In February
2007 we have seen her at"El Ego de pasarela Cibeles".During Madrid´s
fashion week.
Celina's collections include many "fun" fabrics and cuts that can be
described as cheerful, with a large variety of textures and colors. Celina
Martin is for women who aim to be different in style but still come off as elegant
and classy. Her clientele is made up of a wide variety of women as her
clothes and accessories are sported by young ladies in their 20s as well as more
mature women well into their 50s.
After this experiences Celina has decided to open her own shop in Madrid,Spain.She
has a full collection of clothing for women and accessories.
The shop called "Uvas de fresa" its a combination of fashion , furniture
design and contemporary art.
Celina has some exclusive designs for her store in Madrid, as well as she still
sells on other boutiques.
